Aqua Aerobics Exercise

The aquatic aerobics is the use of water properties to maintain good health by performing fitness in the water, such as buoyancy and resistance. Exercises are more effective, more FUN and more enjoyable in the water than any other!

Research indicates that the buoyancy of water helps to support body weight. 70% of the joint load is reduced by comparing to land activities. When performing a movement, a higher resistance forces resulted in water than that on land sports, approximately from 800 to 1000 times. Thus, it allows everybody parts to get exercised. Besides, aquaerobics
is conducive to body sweating. It is "fat-burning" and feasible way to maintain an ideal body weight. Experts said that exercise in the water can improve heart and lung function and burn fat at a faster rate. Therefore, it is the best choice to keep fit!

 

Age: 18 years old or above
 

Remarks:
The course is suitable for those who don't know how to swim. Participants with Hypertension, Hypotension, Anaemia, heart disease and other chronic disease are required to 
submit a health declaration form one week before class for evaluation.
